Lexington is in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The population is roughly 8,000. The views are awe inspiring. We get great weather and a limited winter. We are about an hour from major colleges such as Virginia Tech, UVA, JMU, and Liberty. We are two hours from the capital Richmond, and three hours from major metros such as Washington D.C., and Charlotte. "Lex Vegas" as its referred to by its residents is a vibrant college town. There is a southern city feel and it's consistently voted one of the best places to live in the United States.
