Get ready for an elite lacrosse experience at VMI - home to one of the fastest rising Division I lacrosse programs. The Keydets Elite Summer Skills Camp offers young athletes an unparalleled opportunity to train under the guidance of the VMI Lacrosse Coaching Staff, current Keydets players. Whether you’re looking to refine your skills or take your game to the next level, this camp is designed to challenge, develop, and inspire players of all levels.

• Expert Coaching: Learn from a top Division I coaching staff. Coach Purpura and the VMI coaching staff are passionate about helping players grow both on and off the field. Get inside tips from current VMI players who have competed at the highest level. You’ll receive hands-on instruction that covers everything from individual skill development to advanced situational drills, and gameplay strategies.
• Train Like a Keydet: Experience training in a Division I lacrosse program. Our coaches will provide personalized attention, giving you the tools and techniques to take your game to the next level. Whether you’re learning new offensive moves, sharpening your defensive skills, or mastering face-offs, the focus is on player development and maximum improvement.
• Incredible Campus and Facilities: The camp will be held at VMI, where you'll get a taste of the incredible facilities that are used by Keydet athletes. From top-tier locker rooms to beautifully maintained turf fields, you’ll train in world-class settings that will inspire and motivate you to push yourself to new heights.
• A True College Experience: Immerse yourself in the VMI/Lexington community and get a feel for life as a Keydet. You'll meet new friends, experience the campus culture, and build lasting connections with coaches and players who share your love for the game.
• Recruiting Exposure: Each camp has seen college coaches from other schools in attendance. Showcase your skills in front of multiple college coaches. A few of the programs that have been represented at recent camps (D2: Emory and Henry University, Davis and Elkins D3: Averett University, Mary Washington, Washington & Lee)

HOUSING

All camps are commuter. Campers are responsible for their own lodging.

MEALS

Lunch is not provided. You may pack a lunch or have an hour to head into beautiful Lexington, VA and grab lunch at some of the local restaurants. Camp Forms are completed online during registration.

9:30 AM | Check in
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Session I
11:30 AM - 12:45 PM | Lunch
1:00 PM - 1:45 PM | Recruiting Q + A with Coach Purpura (Parents may attend)
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Session II
4:00 PM | Camp ends

REFUND POLICY

Refunds less the Administrative Fee, plus $100 will be made for cancellations up to a month in advance. There will be no refund for cancellations less than a month to the start of camp.

Due to the unpredictable nature of weather, illness and injury, we strongly recommend you consider purchasing camp insurance, coverage is offered during registration. Camp Protector provides coverage for lost registration fees when a camper has to cancel or leave camp for a reason covered by the policy.  Information about Allianz Registration Protector can be found here.

All camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age and grade and if there are any particular positions specific restrictions and camp capacity.
